On the cool evening of October 20th, Acacia’s school grounds was beautifully transformed into our Fall Festival thanks in part to our amazing Acacia Community. The air was filled with excitement and Pandas of all ages were ready for a night of fun with family and friends. As the warm afternoon sun set, the smell of freshly popped kettle corn and cotton candy filled the air. Auctions items were ready and awaited the bidding war and the pumpkin patch area was full and even included a photo booth trailer adding just the right touch of fall fun. It was a successful event with families enjoying their night by first having dinner choosing from various options including a Chili Cook Off by our community of Acacia Chili Cooks. Other food vendors that delighted the crowds included Fratellino’s Italian Restaurant, Matador Cantina, and Sausage Masters. Those needing to appease their sweet tooth had the option to purchase various delicious sweet treat from the baked goods tables. Some even took a chance at the Cake Walk.
Classroom parent volunteers turned E-Z ups into fun themed games with fun prizes for participants. Each class booth was lined up with eager Pandas waiting for their chance to conquer each challenge that awaited them. Those looking for a more physical challenge walked through the corn maze or raced against each other in the obstacle course. Once again, an amazing event was executed on behalf of the Acacia Foundation, Acacia Room Parents, Acacia Staff, the Fall Festival Committee, and generous donors and volunteers for our amazing and supportive community. Until next year!
